Job summary

Hensel Phelps seeks a Foreman for our El Paso construction sites to lead crews, ensure safety, and keep projects on schedule. You will be the liaison between workers and supervisors, manage daily activities, and uphold our safety culture.

As a safety-sensitive role, you will supervise craft teams, coordinate tasks, report progress to site leaders, and assist in maintaining quality and efficiency across mission critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Foreman is responsible for ensuring smooth operations on the construction site.
• Acts as point of contact between workers and supervisors.
• Leads assigned crew(s) and maintains safe work environment.
• Reports project progress to the general foreman and superintendent.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Report project progress to superiors
• Develop a work schedule for workers
• Active participation in our SAFE Program
• Performing daily STAs and participate in the development of the AHAs
• Plan an effective means of material handling, incorporate safe work access, and minimize the number of times material is moved
• Participate in weekly safety meetings and conduct weekly toolbox talks
• Verify that materials, tools, equipment are used properly and in safe operating condition
• Supervise all craft construction workers
• Investigate accidents within your area of responsibility
