Hensel Phelps is seeking a skilled Carpenter to construct and repair building frameworks and structures. You will read blueprints, manage materials, and coordinate with foremen to ensure quality and safety on site. This is a safety-sensitive, full-time position requiring 5+ years of carpentry experience and a strong attention to detail.

The role emphasizes teamwork, initiative, and reliable attendance, with ownership-style benefits and a commitment to safety. A valid driver's license is required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Carpenter.
• OSHA 10 Certification, preferred.
• CPR & First Aid Certification preferred; Demonstrated leadership skills.
• In depth carpentry knowledge.
• Experience using and maintaining power tools and small hand tools.
• Must be able to take initiative and ask questions.
• Possess a keen attention to detail and be able to follow instructions.
• Workers must provide their own safety footwear.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers and stakeholders.
• Strong mathematical reasoning and quantitative skills.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Experienced in construction layout, blueprint reading and shop drawing reading, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and assist with the assembly and removal of forms used for concrete installation.
• Use assorted power tools and small hand tools to assist with worksite projects.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to grasp project requirements and assign teams.
• Manage materials including inventory, distribution, and placement.
• Monitor project performance and report updates to management.
• Coordinate with other trade foremen and superintendents as needed.
• Promote a safe work environment and secure the jobsite daily; store materials properly.
