Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent for Mission Critical projects. The role supports scheduling, site supervision, safety compliance, and closeout processes, ensuring budget, quality, time, and safety objectives are met.

Responsibilities include coordinating the project schedule with the project manager, maintaining daily site documentation, and fostering strong subcontractor relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 4-year degree strongly preferred in construction, engineering, or business.
• 2-5 years’ experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with tenant renovations, service work, occupied spaces, weekend work, fast-paced projects is a plus.
• Project lead experience is a plus.
• Ability to use MS Office, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam.

Responsibilities

• Formulate project schedules with the project manager and ensure installation sequence is followed.
• Maintain HITT quality standards for all project aspects.
• Foster good relationships with subcontractors and community to enhance opportunities.
• Maintain accurate daily documentation of work orders and subcontractor scope to avoid change orders.
• Organize the site team and arrange temporary facilities/utilities; identify long lead items for expediting.
