Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Assistant Supervisor to support managing work flow, coordinate field staff and subcontractors, and uphold safety and quality standards on mission-critical projects.

The role focuses on planning, scheduling, documentation, and closeout, with exposure to ProCore, BlueBeam, and the Microsoft Office suite, plus OSHA 30 preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of commercial construction experience with a GC; tenant renovations or occupied space work a plus.
• Proficiency with ProCore, BlueBeam, Adobe, Excel; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project schedule, communicate priorities to field staff and subcontractors.
• Maintain daily documentation of work orders and site conditions; manage punch list and closeout.
• Develop site team, arrange temporary facilities, and expedite long lead items.
