Job summary

HireArt is hiring a Mission Control Associate to support autonomous vehicle fleet operations from the service operations command center in Las Vegas. You’ll help ensure each rider trip is completed safely and efficiently.

The role requires a proactive, resourceful communicator who is comfortable with computer-based systems and ready to collaborate across teams. Shifts include AM and PM blocks; it is a full-time onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Support Mission Control operations from the service operations command center.

• Serve as first point of contact for basic vehicle troubleshooting.
• Create and escalate service disruption events through an internal ticketing system.
• Dispatch Fleet Response crews for vehicle recovery and coordinate status updates.
• Manage market configurations in response to events and operational conditions.
• Assist with operational documentation and process improvements.

Job description

Expected compensation: 25.00 USD Per Hour

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire Mission Control Associates to support Mission Control and help ensure each trip requested by a rider is completed safely and successfully.

In this role, you'll work behind the scenes from the service operations command center, supporting the safe and efficient operation of an autonomous vehicle fleet. Similar to air traffic control, Mission Control monitors service operations both holistically and at the individual vehicle level, managing fleet and crew allocation in real time and identifying opportunities to improve safety and service efficiency.

The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment. You have strong communication skills, are comfortable navigating computer-based systems, and can collaborate across teams to help keep service operations running smoothly.

AM Shifts

• Tues-Sat - 9:30am - 6:00pm
• Sun-Thurs - 9:30am - 6:00pm
• Fri-Tues - 9:30am - 6:00pm

PM Shifts

• Fri-Tues - 5:30pm - 2:00am
• Fri-Tues - 5:30pm - 2:00am
• Fri-Tues - 5:30pm - 2:00am

As a Mission Control Associate, You'll

• Support commercial service operations from the service operations command center.
• Ensure operational teams are ready for service by completing pre-mission startup checklists.
• Work cross-functionally to help ensure operations within your assigned market run smoothly.
• Serve as the first point of contact for basic vehicle troubleshooting.
• Create and elevate service disruption events through an internal ticketing system.
• Dispatch Fleet Response crews when vehicle recovery is required and coordinate with cross-functional teams on status updates.
• Manage market configurations, including restricted areas and hours of operation, to respond to civic events, traffic incidents, emergency scenes, and other operational conditions.
• Assist with operational documentation and process improvements.
