Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring a Mission Assurance Engineer in Roy, UT to join the SDS division supporting the Sentinel Program. You will be the Hardware Quality SME, verify content of design packages, and ensure compliance to standards, while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, MBSE/3D design experience, and the ability to drive improvements across the project lifecycle. Relocation assistance may be available and a 9/80 schedule applies.

Qualifications

• Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application.
• Level 2 requires 2+ years of relevant experience with a BS or 0+ years with an MS.
• Level 3 requires a BS with 5+ years, or an MS with 3+ years, or a PhD with 1+ year.

Responsibilities

• Check design packages for content and standards compliance.
• Review subcontractor design work against SOW and program requirements.
• Recommend changes to product definitions for approval and buy-off.
• Maintain a Quality Management System per AS9100/ISO9001 and related standards.
• Review practices to standardize processes and reduce risk to quality.
• Prepare and present reports and metrics to internal/external customers.
• Participate in engineering boards as a Mission Assurance representative.
• Perform other Mission Assurance related tasks and program improvements.
