Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Mission Assurance Engineer to join the SDS division in Roy, UT. You will act as a Hardware Quality SME, checking design packages for content and compliance with standards, and supporting multiphase design reviews.

You will review subcontractor work against SOW, propose changes, and help standardize processes to reduce risk. A strong background in GD&T, MBSE, and CAD/PLM tools is required, with a focus on quality management across programs.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Level 2: 2+ years of relevant experience with BS or 0+ with MS.
• Level 3: 5+ years with BS or 3+ with MS or PhD+1.
• Experience with 3D design modeling or design package reviews.

Responsibilities

• Check design packages for content and standards compliance.
• Review subcontractor design work against SOW and requirements.
• Propose changes to product definitions for approval.
• Maintain Quality Management System per AS9100/ISO9001.
• Prepare reports, metrics, and internal/external briefings.
• Participate in engineering boards as MA/DA representative.
• Support program improvement efforts and collaborations.
