Job summary

St. John’s University seeks an Assistant Director to oversee assessment practices, outcomes, and action plans across the University’s five mission departments.

This role supports data-informed practices, centralizes data collection, and guides program improvement and strategic decision-making. The Assistant Director will lead analyses of CIMA surveys, assist in accreditation efforts, and collaborate across mission-related departments to prepare reports on program performance and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, social sciences, or educational program evaluation and minimum of two years of research experience.
• Experience with data coding and documentation.
• Experience working with databases and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assessment practices across five mission departments in alignment with institutional goals.
• Lead analyses of qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Create centralized tools and processes to streamline data collection and improve accuracy.
• Coordinate and facilitate assessment workshops and training for Mission department staff.
