Job summary

East Tennessee Human Resource Agency, Inc. is seeking a probation program coordinator to supervise misdemeanor offenders and maintain ties with court officials. You will assist with offender registration, manage fees data, and coordinate urine screens and electronic monitoring.

You will oversee classes such as anger management and DUI programs. The role requires collaboration with state auditors and agency staff, plus experience in criminal justice or social services.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Administration, Social Work, or Behavioral Sciences;
• Must have at least four years of experience in Criminal Justice or a social services agency providing counseling services; or
• Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise misdemeanor offenders to ensure compliance to probation order.
• Maintain working relationship with sessions, juvenile and criminal court officials.
• Assist with the registration of misdemeanor offenders.
• Maintain and submit data for monthly and quarterly reports for the Misdemeanor Probation Program for state and agency auditors.
• Collect and deposit of fees, conduct random urine screens, and coordinate the use of electronic monitoring devices.
• Provide oversight of and assistance with various classes including anger management, DUI, domestic violence, and alcohol and drug awareness.
