The IT Manager of Overseas Manufacturing will lead the information technology department across the group’s international production facilities. This role drives the deployment, optimization, and operation of critical IT infrastructure and manufacturing systems. Operating in a global environment, the candidate will act as the primary strategic liaison between overseas factory teams and the headquarters IT division, making professional bilingual fluency in both English and Mandarin a mandatory requirement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Requirement Alignment
- Align factory IT goals with group-level operations, license controls, data compliance, and network security frameworks.
- Partner with cross-functional business units to identify, analyze, and translate operational needs into technical requirements.
- Develop comprehensive IT construction and operational roadmaps that align with corporate budgets and business growth.
Infrastructure & System Operations
- Oversee the lifecycle management of all office hardware, network infrastructure, servers, and pilot plant IT equipment.
- Manage daily operations, configuration, and troubleshooting for core enterprise systems and general office applications.
- Monitor system performance metrics in real-time to guarantee high availability, stability, and total compliance.
Security, Risk, & Compliance
- Direct the execution of regular data backups, disaster recovery protocols, and comprehensive log traceability.
- Conduct routine information security risk assessments to mitigate data breaches and regulatory compliance vulnerabilities.
- Standardize IT asset ledgers and archiving procedures to ensure seamless support for internal and external audits.
Project Management & Production Support
- Establish rapid-response protocols to resolve critical hardware, software, network, and system emergencies.
- Champion special projects focused on manufacturing digitalization, process optimization, and compliance remediation.
- Deliver comprehensive technical support to safeguard continuous business operations and corporate digital evolution.
Job Requirements
- Bilingual Fluency (Mandarin and English) is required. Must be fully proficient in both languages for professional, technical, and cross-border business communication (written and spoken).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above from a nationally accredited university.
- Preferred majors include Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, or Information Technology.
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years in enterprise IT infrastructure construction and IT operations management.
- Minimum of 5 years in a formal IT team management or leadership role.
Technical & Soft Skills
- Proven capability to independently design, deploy, and maintain small-to-medium enterprise IT systems.
- Advanced proficiency in network operations, system administration, data security frameworks, and risk control.
- Strong expertise in business requirements gathering, digital solution implementation, and cross-departmental collaboration.
