Job summary

Concord Church is seeking a Ministry Operations Lead to bring clarity and structure to the church’s ministries. The role coordinates ministry communication, planning, reporting, documentation, and cross-functional work to ensure consistent, excellent execution across teams.

The candidate will build calendars, manage the ministry playbook, and lead annual planning, while supporting volunteers and staff with organized, efficient processes aligned to the church’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience in operations, project coordination, or ministry administration is preferred.
• Experience building processes, documentation, calendars, or playbooks is expected.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the shared Ministry calendar with ministry leaders.
• Own weekly ministry communications and ensure timely updates and action items.
• Drive cross-functional follow-through for ministry initiatives with Marketing, Finance, People & Culture, and Operations.
• Lead the Ministry Team Playbook development and updates for clarity and consistency.
• Coordinate annual ministry and goal-planning processes and follow-through on timelines.
• Support ministry reporting, data accuracy, and preparation of leadership materials.
• Own the Sunday Next Steps Room and oversee volunteer recruitment and development.
• Provide administrative support for ministry meetings, purchases, and financial processes.
