Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical recruitment, with a proven track record in mining or resources sector.
• Strong understanding of mining operations, geological processes, and related engineering disciplines.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of the Welkom and Free State mining industry is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in using recruitment software and online sourcing tools.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Earth Sciences, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit candidates for technical roles within the mining and resources sector, including engineers (mining, mechanical, electrical), geologists, metallurgists, and skilled artisans.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the mining industry.
• Understand the technical specifications, safety requirements, and operational demands of the mining sector.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring timely and effective placements.
• Utilize specialized sourcing techniques and networks to attract niche talent.
• Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate technical competencies and cultural fit.
• Provide clients with market intelligence on talent availability and compensation trends.
• Maintain accurate candidate and client data within the recruitment management system.
