Job summary

Loenbro Southwest is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for mining projects at a mining site or regional office. You will support planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule adherence in surface or underground environments.

You will work with project managers, mine operations, and contractors to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within cost while promoting safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mining or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of project coordination or mining operations experience.
• Experience supporting capital projects or mine development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing mining construction, infrastructure, expansion, rehabilitation, and capital projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
• Coordinate activities between operations, engineering, procurement, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Track project milestones and ensure progress according to plans.
• Assist with startup, execution, commissioning, and closeout activities.
