Job summary

ABB Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist-Mining to lead and manage sales proposals for the Mining Electrification product line.

You will prepare RFQs, perform bid evaluations, and develop turnkey project cost estimates while coordinating with customers, engineering teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in industrial electrification, system design, and cost budgeting, with a strong grasp of relevant standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8 years of experience in industrial electrification projects.
• 8 years of experience reviewing customer specifications, developing optimized bids, and writing ECIS documents.
• 5 years of experience with ANSI/CSA/IEEE/MSHA/UL standards and electrification technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all sales proposal activities for BL Mining Electrification.
• Prepare RFQs, bid evaluations and analyses.
• Produce cost estimations for turnkey projects and schedule the entire project.
• Coordinate with customers, internal engineering, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Perform engineering changes and coordinate technical studies (short-circuit, load flow, protection coordination, arc flash).
