Sundt Construction is seeking a Construction Manager II to support the Project Manager in planning, directing, and delivering large industrial projects. You will coordinate contractual requirements, design drawings and specifications to ensure timely, profitable project execution.

The role requires experience with self-perform crews, piping, infrastructure, and scheduling, with strong leadership and budget control capabilities. Join a culture-driven team at Sundt focused on excellence and safety.

Qualifications

• Four-year construction related degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams.
• Superior communication and organization development skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate staff for management of contracted projects while maintaining profitability.
• Communicate with crews and field managers to ensure projects meet guidelines, budgets, and work hours.
• Understand contracts, subcontracts, POs and drawings; budget and control costs to meet approved budget.
• Ensure safety on every project through training, meetings and site monitoring.
• Build relationships with clients and assist with issues and opportunities.
• Plan, direct, coordinate and motivate the project team to achieve goals.
• Participate in takeoffs for concrete, asphalt, earthwork and utilities.
• Monitor daily budgets and weekly labor cost analyses; adjust to meet targets.
• Lead the project team to relentlessly execute project goals.
