Sundt Construction is seeking a Construction Manager II in Tempe to assist the Project Manager in planning, directing, and delivering large-scale industrial projects. You will coordinate contracts, drawings, and specifications while ensuring safety, quality, and profitability across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes self-perform crews management, cost control, and client relationship building, with a focus on meeting project goals and budgets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional teams in construction projects.
• Strong communication and organizational development skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
• Thorough understanding of PMP-esque project management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate staff for management of contracted projects and maintain profitability.
• Communicate with crews and field managers to ensure projects stay within budgets and schedules.
• Understand contracts, subcontracts, PO agreements, and project drawings/specifications; control costs.
• Enforce safety training and monitor job sites for hazards.
• Build and maintain client relationships and resolve issues.
• Plan, direct, coordinate, and motivate project team to execute relentlessly.
• Participate in concrete form design, equipment selection, and takeoffs as needed.
• Monitor daily budgets and weekly labor costs to meet guidelines.
• Lead project team development for successful project delivery.
