Job summary

Pilbara Minerals Limited is seeking a Boilermaker to maintain our mobile fleet in a safe, mechanically sound condition, delivering uptime for the Mining Group. The role operates on an 8/6 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO in the Pilbara region.

This permanent full-time position requires 2+ years post-trade experience in bucket, blade, body repairs and drill maintenance on MEM equipment (CAT, Epiroc, Komatsu). A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post trade mine site exposure with repairs on MEM equipment.
• Strong commitment to Safety Culture.
• Understanding of open cut mining environment.
• Ability to work as a safe productive crew member.
• Adaptability with varied groups and situations.
• Knowledge of Workshop standards, processes and techniques.
• Collaborative liaison skills with operations and equipment usage.
• Current nationally recognised Trade Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work in line with OH&S standards.
• Fabrication and welding repair maintenance on heavy mining equipment.
• Carry out bucket inspections and create detailed notifications for repairs.
• Perform GET inspections on Mining Fleet (Buckets/Blades/Bodies).
• Increase equipment reliability and availability.
• Follow a maintenance schedule effectively.
• Assess unplanned repairs and implement suitable fixes.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow up on issues.
