Job summary

Capstone Copper Pinto Valley Mine is seeking an Operations Support Boilermaker to weld, fabricate, and maintain mining and processing equipment. You will follow engineered drawings, perform 3G/4G qualification tests, and work with the maintenance team to ensure reliability and safety in a dynamic mining environment.

The role requires the ability to interpret drawings, operate in field and shop areas, and comply with MSHA standards. A strong safety culture and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated weld and fabricate to engineered drawings.
• Welding 3G/4G qualification tests completed.
• Welding and fabrication experience including cutting.
• Layout experience for fabricated systems.
• Knowledge of safety, MSHA standards and site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, cutting, fabrication and fitting per engineered drawings.
• Maintain fabricated systems and assist with repairs of processing equipment.
• Ensure work is done in compliance with safety and site SOPs.
• Interpret engineering drawings and determine appropriate welding methods.
• Coordinate with Processing Technicians and Maintenance teams.
• Participate in safety meetings and line-out sessions.
