Job summary

Pilbara Minerals Limited is seeking a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter to operate the Mid-Stream Demonstration Plant (MSDP) safely, monitor processes and support plant availability on a 12-month maximum term FIFO from Perth or DIDO in the Pilbara region.

The role requires strong maintenance skills across start-ups, shutdowns, fault finding and preventative work, with emphasis on safety, HSE, LOTO and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with a Certificate III in Engineering.
• Experience in mineral processing or fixed plant environments preferred.
• Strong safety focus with knowledge of HSE, PTW and LOTO processes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the Mid-Stream Demonstration Plant per procedures and parameters.
• Monitor and adjust process conditions to maintain quality and availability.
• Perform routine maintenance, fault-finding and servicing.
• Keep accurate records of production, downtime and maintenance activities.
• Support RCA activities and work with operations, vendors and contractors.
• Provide CRO relief and support during plant operations.
