ABB is seeking a Business Development Manager for Mining and Aggregates (VFDs) in the United States. The role focuses on expanding ABB Drives adoption and channel partnerships across the Mining and Aggregates sector with significant travel.

The successful candidate will drive sub-segment strategy, coordinate with Channel Sales and OEM teams, and define go-to-market approaches to achieve segment goals while leveraging AVL/Frame agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in capital equipment sales in Mining & Aggregates.
• Expertise in conveyors, crushers, feeders, screens and related equipment.
• Proven ability to translate customer needs into application solutions.
• Experience achieving AVL/Frame agreements with end users.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Generate brand and product acceptance for ABB Low Voltage Drives and PLCs in Mining/Aggregates.
• Coordinate with Channel Sales, Programs, and OEM teams to drive industry programs.
• Document stakeholders and buying behavior to target opportunities.
• Articulate product positioning to win AVL/FA placement.
• Develop value propositions from mining industry trends.
• Lead sub-segment go-to-market strategies to meet segment goals.
