Job summary

ABB Drive Products seeks a Business Development Manager for Mining and Aggregates to grow acceptance of ABB Low Voltage Drives, PLC, and HMI with end-user facilities. You will ally with Channel Sales and OEM teams to push mining industry programs and engage partners to accelerate growth.

This role requires 8+ years in capital sales in mining (or 10+ with an Associate or 12+ with a HS diploma), deep knowledge of mining equipment, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in capital sales in mining.
• Associate's degree with 10+ years in capital sales in mining.
• High School Diploma with 12+ years in capital sales in mining.
• In-depth knowledge of mining equipment applications and processes.
• Ability to translate technical ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience achieving AVL specifications and Frame agreements.

Responsibilities

• Generate brand and product acceptance of ABB Low Voltage Drives, PLC, and HMI products with end-user mining customers.
• Coordinate with Channel Sales and OEM teams to drive industry programs.
• Document stakeholders, buying behaviors, and corporate initiatives relevant to the push.
• Communicate product positioning to win ABB placement on AVL and FA.
• Leverage mining trends to deliver compelling value propositions.
• Lead execution sub-segment strategy and go-to-market approaches.
