Job summary

Western States Equipment seeks a Mining Field Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing Caterpillar mining equipment. You will work independently in the field or at the customer’s location, ensuring adherence to safety standards and procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with 3+ years of related experience in mining environments. The position requires effective communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain various job-related certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience in Caterpillar mining or similar environment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Independent diagnosis and repair of Caterpillar mining equipment.
• Adhere to site procedures and safety requirements.
• Complete repairs on assigned mining site.
