Peabody Energy is seeking a Welder to join the Maintenance team at the North Antelope Rochelle Mine (NARM) in Wright, Wyoming. The role focuses on preventive and breakdown welding on heavy equipment used in open-cut mining, with a safety-first culture and opportunities to train others.

Qualifications

• Heavy equipment welding experience in mining or construction.
• Completion of a one-year mechanical/welding vo-tech program.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance welding on heavy equipment.
• Inspect work area for hazards and read drawings/specifications.
• Diagnose faults, estimate time and material needs, and perform repairs.
