Qualifications

• Three years’ experience operating dozer equipment at a mine site is preferred.
• Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot situations arising in the pit area as needed.
• Ability to operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts and overhead shop cranes.

Responsibilities

• Operate open cut mine equipment to facilitate coal production.
• Inspect and service equipment regularly.
• Plan digging activities to ensure optimal coal recovery.
• Train junior production employees.
