Job summary

WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Mining Construction Safety Manager to oversee all onsite construction for an EPCM mining project. This full-time role is based anywhere in the U.S. with preference for Nevada, Utah, Colorado, or Alaska.

The manager will ensure compliance with safety regulations, lead safety programs, and mentor junior staff. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of mining safety management experience, MSHA certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant hands-on safety management experience in mining.
• MSHA certification required, other certifications preferred.
• Ability to work in both above and underground construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HSSE performance and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead safety programs and conduct regular risk assessments.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to WSP's mining practices.
