North American Construction Group seeks a Safety Manager to lead health and safety initiatives at the San Miguel Mine in Christine, TX. The role requires a proven safety leader who forges relationships with stakeholders and guides on-site safety and training teams.

You will develop, implement and monitor safety programs, ensuring MSHA compliance and ongoing risk reduction. NACG emphasizes a strong safety culture and continuous improvement within a large, performance-driven team.

Qualifications

• Eight years’ progressive experience in Health, Safety & Environment.
• 30 CFR Part 48 and Part 77 qualifications; MSHA knowledge.
• Industrial construction/mining industry experience preferred.
• Strong incident investigations experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage safety initiatives on site.
• Ensure MSHA reporting and compliance.
• Develop and implement risk reduction strategies.
• Coordinate safety training programs.
• Monitor D&A program elements and industry requirements.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Direct reports performance and set goals aligned with HS&E strategy.
