Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a maintenance planning professional to support a large mining operation. The role involves coordinating field maintenance, developing and adjusting schedules, and ensuring data integrity in the SAP system.

The candidate should have 4+ years in field maintenance or planning in mining/manufacturing, with potential for long-term incentives and comprehensive benefits. On-site work with housing allowance is available.

Qualifications

• Four years of field maintenance experience in mining/manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Two years of planning experience in field maintenance in mining/manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Associates or higher in a technical field with relevant experience.
• Bachelor's in a technical field with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the area Supervisor in all facets of job preparation, execution and follow up per Freeport-McMoRan standards, including field readiness.
• Interact with the Supervisor to plan schedules and review work orders.
• Execute Runtime Forecasting and monitor outcomes in the assigned area.
• Develop, monitor and adjust schedules for activities and maintain them in the system (SAP).
• Provide data to support maintenance decisions, including budgets and weekly forecasting.
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports for site management to measure KPIs.
