Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. is hiring for a Maintenance Planner at the Henderson mine in Colorado, supporting scheduling, planning, and execution of maintenance activities in a 24/7 mining environment.

The role requires strong planning skills, knowledge of SAP, and collaboration with Global Supply Chain to manage parts and materials. The position offers on-site work with a comprehensive benefits package, inclusive of housing allowance where applicable and competitive compensation based on experience

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in technical field with related experience options
• General knowledge of Maintenance Planning and mining/process equipment
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support the area Supervisor with job preparation, execution and follow-up per Freeport-McMoRan standards
• Plan, schedule and monitor work orders; participate in planning meetings
• Execute Runtime Forecasting and maintain schedules in the system
• Maintain and update activity histories in SAP
• Coordinate with Global Supply Chain on parts, materials storage and contracts
• Provide data to support maintenance decisions and weekly forecasting
• Generate site reports and assist with major production shutdown planning
