Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in Morenci, AZ is seeking an Assistant Technical Instructor/Facilitator to advance safety, regulatory compliance, and operations training for mine personnel.

This role blends classroom instruction with hands-on simulations to build a skilled workforce capable of performing complex maintenance tasks. You will proctor assessments, track attendance and results in the LMS, and partner with supervisors to close skill gaps while developing competency-based materials and mentoring

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years leading teams or facilitating training in mining or related fields.
• Proficient computer literacy including MS Office.
• English communication for procedures and safety required.
• Adult education or corporate training experience preferred.
• MSHA/OSHA familiarity preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training and simulations for safety and operations.
• Proctor standardized assessments and track results in the LMS.
• Collaborate with supervisors to address skill gaps and improve performance.
• Develop competency-based learning materials and mentor instructors.
