Qualifications

• Vocational/technical training and/or 3–5 years of surface mining experience may be required depending on supervision area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of heavy equipment operators and maintenance personnel to meet production goals.
• Plan and schedule production/maintenance work using personnel, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate safety activities to ensure MSHA compliance and proper training.
• Ensure safe and efficient work environment and adherence to environmental standards.
• Maintain productivity records and assist with scheduling and cost control.
• Follow MSHA laws, safety procedures, and environmental regulations.
