Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. seeks a Mine Engineering Intern for a 10‑week summer program in Ada, OK.

The intern will work onsite at a cement plant and quarry, gaining hands‑on experience in production, maintenance and data analysis while learning from seasoned professionals. The ideal candidate is enrolled in Mine Engineering or a related field, demonstrates strong academics, communicates well, and shows initiative.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Mine Engineering or similar field.
• Strong academic performance with a solid understanding of engineering principles.
• Geographic flexibility to work at various sites.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• High energy and a proactive approach to tackling new challenges.
• A team player who can collaborate across different levels of the organization.
• Willingness to spend significant time in the field, gaining hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on learning in production/maintenance at cement plant and quarry.
• Collect and analyze data to identify process improvements.
• Gain exposure to drilling, blasting, loading and hauling activities.
• Learn maintenance and operation of heavy mining equipment.
• Collaborate with geology, engineering and safety teams.
• Assist in applying safety protocols and present learnings to leadership at internship end.
