Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. invites students to join our Mine Engineering Internship for Summer 2027 at our Ada, OK cement plant and quarry.

This 10-week, paid program offers hands-on exposure to mining operations, data analysis, safety practices, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment. You will work on real projects, learn from leaders, and present learnings to executives at the end of the internship.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Mine Engineering or similar field.
• Geographic flexibility to work at various sites.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• High energy and a proactive approach to tackling new challenges.
• A team player who can collaborate across different levels of the organization.
• Willingness to spend significant time in the field, gaining hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Support mining and cement plant operations through hands-on tasks and data collection.
• Analyze data to identify process improvements and contribute to project strategies.
• Gain exposure to daily mine operations including drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling.
• Learn about maintenance and operation of heavy mining equipment.
• Collaborate with geology, engineering, and safety teams to understand operations.
• Assist in safety protocol implementation and monitoring.
