Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 at our cement plant in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. This 10-week paid internship begins June 1, 2027, with a focus on maintenance, P&ID work in AutoCAD, and collaboration with experienced engineers.

You will gain hands-on experience in cement production, safety protocols, and field operations while presenting your learnings to executives at the end of the program.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergrad program majoring in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong academic performance and grasp of engineering principles.
• Willingness to be onsite at multiple sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance, repair, and optimization of mechanical equipment.
• Review and update P&ID drawings using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to understand equipment layouts.
• Support safety protocols and field data collection.
• Present learnings to executive leadership at internship end.
