Job summary

ALO in Birmingham is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver an authentic, high-quality guest experience, educate customers on our products and culture, and uphold the ALO experience across Retail, Yoga, and Café. You will work with leadership to meet store goals, maintain a smooth sales floor, and support process flows.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to move actively throughout the shift, with 32–40 hours for full-time or up to 30 hours for part-time,

Qualifications

• Preferred 1+ years prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
• Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
• Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles.
• Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually, and as a team.
• Requires constant movement around all areas of the store.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stand and move for an entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Impacts the business and store environment in a positive manner aligning with store leadership and company goals.
• Drive and exceed sales goals by leading ALO’s Flow initiatives, while optimizing productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure engagement with customers and provide a friendly and easy to shop environment.
• Continue to build the client relationship daily with our customers.
• Analyze reports with leadership to strategize and deliver results and growth opportunities.
• Ensure effective sales floor coverage and lead selling initiatives as needed.
• Educate customers on store goals, initiatives, product launches, and guest-facing programs.
• Introduce all facets of the ALO business model (Retail, Yoga, Café) through personal testimony and knowledge.
