Job summary

Cubanitas Milwaukee is seeking a friendly bartender to craft mojitos and a wide range of cocktails in a busy bar and dining environment. You will greet guests, explain specials, take orders, and input details into the POS for the kitchen and bar staff.

Responsibilities include stocking, maintaining bar cleanliness, and upholding liquor policies. Candidates must be 21+, possess a Milwaukee bartender license, be able to stand for long periods, and communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Minimum two years of serving experience.
• Bartender license for the City of Milwaukee.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Be able to make change.
• Courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Make mojitos and other cocktails in a full bar environment.
• Stocking of bar and being able to carry up to 27 lbs, carry ice, maintain bar cleanliness.
• Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness.
• Takes the order and inputs the order into the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order.
• Full service bar with full service food.
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
