Job summary

Havana Cabana, a Cuban-inspired waterfront hotel in Old Town Key West, is seeking a bartender for Mojitos pool bar with duties across Flama Cabana and event bars. You will thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, crafting cocktails, maintaining bar quality, and delivering warm, attentive service.

You should have 1–2 years of high-volume bartending experience, solid knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, and be comfortable with Toast POS.

Qualifications

• Strong guest service instincts and the ability to stay friendly in a fast-paced, high-volume bar.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Open availability across days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable with a POS system (Toast).
• Florida Responsible Vendor Training (or TIPS / ServSafe Alcohol) and Food Handler Certification within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and make them feel welcome while reading the room and matching energy.
• Build drinks to recipes with consistent pours and garnishes; know the menu well.
• Handle cash, cards, and POS operations; reconcile drawer and declare tips.
• Keep the bar clean, organized, and stocked; manage batches and prep during opening/breaks.
• Cover shifts at Flama Cabana and banquet/event bars as needed; coordinate with team.
