Qualifications

• One year of experience in a high-volume operation.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to acquire bartender’s license within 30 days of employment.
• High school diploma (or GED).
• Demonstrated cash handling skills and knowledge of drink recipes.

Responsibilities

• Mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to recipes.
• Serves wine, beer and food to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Collects payments for items served following established procedures.
• Monitors beverage inventory and maintains stock rotation.
• Maintains knowledge of bar equipment and performs preventive upkeep.
• Ensures guest satisfaction and handles complaints gracefully.
• Maintains knowledge of menus and verifies pricing.
• Checks IDs to verify alcohol age requirements; follows alcohol-awareness procedures.
• Prepares an extensive variety of drinks and ensures correct pricing.
• Assists servers with bar knowledge and garnishes.
