Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Massachusetts to diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial machinery. You will inspect, dismantle, and reassemble equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and order parts as needed.

The role requires 3-5 years of maintenance experience, high school diploma, and familiarity with CNC machinery is a plus. The company offers competitive pay and benefits in a collaborative shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Technical school degree and/or military training a plus.
• Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of plant equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Dismantle and repair machines to access defective parts using tools.
• Perform routine maintenance: inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids, filters.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using manuals and diagrams.
• Assemble or repair wiring or piping as needed.
• Clean, lubricate, and align machinery components.
• Order parts and plan repairs from catalogs or suppliers.
• Plan repair work using diagrams and schematics.
• Maintain clean work areas and facilities.
• Fabricate or repair building structures as needed.
• Align and balance new equipment after installation.
• Inspect parts with calipers and micrometers.
