The candidate should have 3+ years of industrial experience as a J1 Maintenance Technician, formal mechanical maintenance training, and the ability to work 10-hour shifts, including some weekends.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Formal technical/trade school training in mechanical maintenance or equivalent experience.
• Three+ years of verifiable industrial experience as a J1 Mechanical Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities

• Application, installation, and replacement of bearings.
• Rigging and setting of heavy equipment and machinery.
• Precision alignment of equipment and machinery.
• Installation and repair of centrifugal process pumps.
• Maintenance of mechanical seals and drives, clutches, and conveyors.
• Troubleshooting using drawings, diagrams, and manuals.
• Preventive and predictive maintenance on critical equipment.
