Job summary
Global Cellulose Fibers' Columbus Cellulose Fibers facility in Columbus, Mississippi seeks a J1 Electrical Maintenance Technician. Responsible for scheduled/ routine maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, PLC and drive work, and instrumentation calibration as part of a team and independently.
Qualifications include 3+ years as a J1 Electrical technician, high safety standards, and multi-skilled maintenance experience. CCF is a key IP unit with growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required.
- Eligible for employment in the US.
- Three (3) or more years verifiable experience as a J1 Electrical technician.
- Previous multi-skilled maintenance experience.
- Must possess high standards in safety, quality, ethics, craftsmanship, customer focus, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of key operating areas, PLCs AC & DC drives, analog and digital field instrumentation, and DCS equipment.
Responsibilities
- Electrical circuit troubleshooting and repair.
- Conduit and wire installation.
- Lighting repair.
- PLC troubleshooting and repair.
- Drive troubleshooting and repair.
- Instrumentation/ control valve calibration, troubleshooting and repair.
