Job summary

Global Cellulose Fibers is seeking a Mill Maintenance Manager for the Columbus, MS mill. This role leads safety initiatives, builds a team-based culture, and aligns maintenance with operations and engineering to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in heavy manufacturing maintenance management, a BS in Engineering, and strong communication skills to manage budgets and drive results at a major pulp mill.

• Minimum of 10 years in heavy manufacturing maintenance management.
• Strong safety commitment with results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership in safety and participate in the mill’s safety process.
• Develop and nurture a team-based organization with employee participation.
• Maintain reliability culture with alignment between maintenance, operations and engineering.
• Manage area to achieve budgeted manufacturing costs and seek cost reductions.
• Foster preventative maintenance and improved reliability to reduce downtime.
• Close gaps and track reliability metrics; set expectations and accountability.
• Communicate effectively with teams and individuals at all levels.
