Job summary

gpac is assisting a client in their search for a Millwright responsible for maintaining, repairing, installing, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment across grain handling and storage facilities. This role ensures grain elevators, conveyors, and dryers operate safely and efficiently.

Candidates should have mechanical maintenance or repair experience, welding and fabrication skills, and familiarity with hydraulics and gear drives.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, maintenance, or equipment repair experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, and mechanical drive systems.
• Mechanical or welding certification, technical school training, or equivalent hands on experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs on grain handling equipment and facilities
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues
• Maintain and repair grain storage, handling, and processing equipment
• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication repairs on equipment, structural components, and facility systems
• Assist with equipment modifications to improve operational efficiency and reliability
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations
