Job summary

Hansen Agri-Placement is representing an established food and feed ingredient manufacturer in search of a full-time Maintenance Technician. The role focuses on mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance for flour milling equipment, grain handling systems, and related plant infrastructure to minimize downtime and support feed safety programs.

The position requires ability to read manuals, perform welding and fabrication, and work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mill equipment.
• Read equipment manuals and technical instructions.
• Read and follow safety and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mill equipment including grinders, mixers, pellet mills, conveyors, bucket elevators, load-out systems, and related machinery.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Maintain motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, augers, and pneumatic systems.
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting when necessary (as qualified).
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
