Job summary

Gold Star FS is seeking a Millwright to construct and maintain grain storage systems, including bins and conveyors, at customer sites. You will install, service, and repair grain handling equipment, and perform welding and fabrications as needed while prioritizing safety and quality.

You’ll work within a team and communicate progress and issues to the Sales Manager. Candidate must travel to sites, read drawings, and use tools safely.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment required.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations and job sites, including overnight travel.
• Able to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, and seasonal peaks as needed.
• Experience with grain handling equipment and construction practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with constructing and erecting new grain storage systems and bins.
• Install, service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, augers, legs, unload systems, and related equipment.
• Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and torch work as required.
• Read layout plans, drawings, measurements, and installation instructions.
• Operate hand/tools and safety equipment following company policies.
