Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Millwright with at least 2 years in industrial maintenance, mechanical installation, or millwright work to join our steel fabrication team. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and relocate heavy machinery, read blueprints, perform preventative maintenance, and follow OSHA safety procedures to keep production flowing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in millwright, industrial maintenance, or related work.
• Steel fabrication or heavy equipment environment experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and manuals.
• Welding/fabrication experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with hand/tools, precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, align, and dismantle machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on fabrication equipment and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Inspect machinery and identify potential issues before failures.
• Replace bearings, motors, gearboxes, belts, chains, shafts."
• Assist with upgrades, plant expansions, and relocations.
• Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, rigging equipment, and overhead cranes safely.
• Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders promptly.
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and management to maximize productivity.
