Job summary

Millwright Maintenance Technician role at M & M Service Company in Carlinville, IL. Works with a millwright crew to maintain and repair equipment at grain and agronomy facilities, reporting to the Millwright Manager.

Non-exempt, with duties spanning preventive maintenance, parts inventory, and shop cleanliness. Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years’ related experience, with skills in fabrication, cutting, welding, bearing replacement, and painting.

Qualifications

• Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 1 or more years of related work experience.
• Required skills include fabrication, cutting, welding, bearing replacement, painting
• Ability to follow installation/assembly instructions
• Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repairs of equipment as requested
• Helps maintain an appropriate inventory of parts necessary for repairs and maintenance
• Responsible for housekeeping of the shop and on-site work areas
• Performs all other duties as assigned
