Job summary

ForestryWorks is seeking a qualified millwright to perform walk-through inspections, report malfunctions, and troubleshoot repairs across the mill.

You will coordinate with fellow millwrights and supervisors, oversee maintenance on targeted areas, and ensure safe work practices before starting tasks. The role requires at least 2 years of millwright experience, the ability to work shifts and weekends, and passing a background check and drug test. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years millwright experience, preferably in wood products or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform walk-through inspections of the entire mill, report malfunctions, and troubleshoot/repair as needed.
• Coordinate work schedule with fellow millwrights and oversee maintenance on specific areas.
• Communicate with lead millwright, production line supervisor, equipment operators, electricians, and maintenance staff as required by tasks.
• Consider hazards and safe work actions before performing assignments.
