Georgia-Pacific is hiring an experienced Millwright to support our Lumber facility in Warrenton, GA. Starting pay ranges from $34+ per hour, with a $2500 sign-on bonus.

Overtime opportunities are available; pay progression is based on demonstrated skills and impact on mill performance. The role requires reading blueprints, troubleshooting rotating equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics, and working with conveyors and heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• Three years of wood products or industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and performing precision measurements.
• Troubleshooting rotating equipment, including bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and conveyors.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including reading hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Support high-speed manufacturing equipment including conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and automated production lines.
• Perform reliability and maintenance work on heavy industrial machinery.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance aligned with the facility's maintenance strategy.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs.
• Partner with operations to prioritize maintenance needs and improve equipment performance.
