Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking a skilled Millwright to maintain and improve industrial machinery at our facility in Oregon. You will perform PMs, diagnose issues, read blueprints, and coordinate with contractors and safety teams to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years as a millwright, a 2-year associate degree or equivalent training, and a formal apprenticeship preferred. Weld/fabricate as needed and follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Millwright.
• 2 year Associate’s Degree or equivalent training.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to weld and fabricate steel.
• Read blueprints and technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform work safely and accurately, complete PMs and assign tasks.
• Read blueprints/diagrams to determine procedures.
• Install, align, disassemble and move industrial machinery.
• Inspect machinery to detect irregularities and repair as needed.
• Operate tools and weld/fabricate as required for overhauls.
• Work with management, safety teams and contractors.
