Job summary

Wilson Lumber Company is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations at the Huntsville, AL Millwork Plant. This role will coach and support a production crew of about 15–25 employees, ensure production deadlines are met, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating workflows, managing schedules, monitoring output, and maintaining adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
• A minimum of 3+ years experience in operations leadership roles.
• Strong communication, analytical and leadership skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coach and lead the production team to meet deadlines and updates.
• Ensure OSHA safety requirements are followed.
• Communicate with management and staff to meet production objectives.
• Organize workflow to complete the production schedule.
• Oversee staff scheduling and time-off requests.
• Monitor quality and reduce waste while maximizing equipment use.
• Provide safety training and a positive leadership example.
• Conduct formal performance reviews and disciplinary actions per policy.
